Olerup SSP is the world leader in the development of kits for genomic HLA typing, which is used prior to transplantations to match donors with recipients. Better matching reduces the risk of complications following transplantation. HLA typing is a standard procedure in bone marrow transplantation (hematopoietic stem cell transplantation) but is also used in organ
transplantations (kidney, lung, heart, and others).
Absorber - biotech company focused on transplantations.
AbSorber AB is a biotech company focused on developing products that increase the probability of transplantation success. XM-ONE®, the first AbSorber product on the market, is a novel CE-marked transplantation crossmatch test kit already launched in Europe. In contrast to current crossmatch testing, XM-ONE® rapidly detects antibodies specific for endothelial-specific antigens as well as antibodies specific to major transplantation antigens.
