Olerup introduces new SBT Resolver DRB1 seqencing assay

2012-12-21

This new single tube PCR assay has intronic primers located in intron 1 and intron 2. Furthermore, this assay includes PCR primers for exon 3 and a sequencing primer that enables the resolution of common DRB1*03,12,13 and 14 ambiguities. Additional sequencing primers can be added as required. With Conexio’s large panel of HARPS, this HLA-DRB1 assay matches the typing resolution of GSA approaches to SBT of HLA-DRB1 but without the need for large amounts of DNA and PCR’s. The assay is currently available as RUO. CE IVD will follow in the first quarter of 2013.
